Sarah and the whole family’s Fight Journey was all about how Sarah had swung from feeling better and not feeling better in a span of a few days and a week when she is on a new drug or undergoing new treatments and new supplements. Dad Don and Mom Trish discussed their feelings, belief and their inherent family background influencing their attitude when dealing with everything Sarah had to go through. They talked about those times when Sarah was still looking for the tangible link to her sufferings.
Dad Don and Mom Trish then talked and defined how Sarah had more or less found the very elusive diagnosis of Chronic Lyme almost all on her own because she refused to give up. Then her Dad Don had rallied all his children around and explained to them that as a family they have to stand by one another in everything. He had taken charge of the family and had told them that Sarah is not going to make it if they; her sisters, brothers and in-laws let her do the fighting all on her own. They have to come together as a family to help make Sarah better. Then Mom Trish came over to take charge of the family; kids and everything at Sarah and Aaron’s home so Sarah could go and take the Gerson Therapy treatment. Everything from cleaning and needed doing at home was totally commandeered by Trish because in Sarah’s words “My Mom is awesome”. Dad Don and Mom Trish took over everything to enable Sarah to HEAL.
Sarah is now in her Live journey, and for Sarah’s Mom everything that she believes in that was inculcated in her by her amazing parents was what had kept her faith that Sarah is going to get better one day. And she’s looking forward to that day eagerly while also helping Aaron and Sarah’s family cope to help the healing process along. And she’s willing to chip in all that she can to make her children get better and heal from their illnesses and at that point it was Sarah who needed help the most. Up until now that it’s been 2 years Sarah is home after her HEAL journey she still go and help occasionally. For Sarah her Mom’s fortitude helped them; Aaron and Sarah a lot. The kind of fortitude she had witnessed as a young child when her Mom poured all her love and strength to take care of her severely disabled brother who had meningitis. And now as Sarah is in her LIVE journey fully knowing what she’s dealing with, receiving the right treatments and remedies and slowly recovering back almost everything that normal persons without sickness do; Dad Don, Mom Trish and the rest of the family is there for Sarah, Aaron and their children.
